We are proud to introduce Leading Men Fiber Arts hand-dyed yarns to Connecticut!
With their hand-dyed colorways inspired by the theatre, pop culture, and nature, partners Steve and Andy truly are the Leading Men in the world of COLOR. Monologue is a delicious blend of 65% Superwash Merino, 20% silk and 15% yak. The yak gives the yarn its natural coloring, and provides this yarn with a warm base. This single-ply fingering weight yarn is sure to speak its mind and with its generous put up, it just seems to go on forever!
Established in August 2013, their dye studio is located in Central Illinois, from which they travel the country attending shows and festivals. Their products can also be found in stores across the world. They specialize in semi-solid, variegated, speckled, and gradient yarn-dyeing techniques. When auditioning projects for a starring role, make sure to cast the Leading Men!
Leading Men uses professional acid dyes and their yarns are heat-set to retain color. While we try our best to accurately portray color, some monitor settings may cause slight variation in color representation. For best results, hand wash items in cold water and lay flat to dry.
We recommend alternating skeins in order to avoid any slight differences in color between skeins.
