“Rustic Luxury”
Be they coastal, wooded or alpine, meadows are important ecosystems housing local fauna and serving as a fertile growing ground for flora of many varieties. Usually filled with grasses and other non-woody plants, the theme of lightness is everywhere in a meadow. What better name for a summer lace weight yarn?

Like all of The Fibre Co. family of yarns, Meadow tells the story of our development and commitment to waiting till just the right fibres and processing methods are available for us to realise our dreams. Meadow is the perfect combination of four luxurious fibres: merino, baby llama silk and linen, spun into a 2 ply yarn that’s slightly heavier than a typical lace weight yarn. This blend of fibres and structure makes for a versatile yarn that works well on a wide variety of needle sizes and a wide array of projects. Combining the crisp hand and stitch definition of linen with the sheen of silk is perfectly complimented by the softness of baby llama and merino. A yarn for fibre lovers who like a treat on the needles and for their handmades.
