These bamboo tags are the perfect way to make sure the knits you gift are treated properly. Sew them onto a gift and your recipient won't have to wonder if their present can go in the washing machine or not. These tags look great on hand knit and hand crocheted garments, as well as sewn garments. We offer three options:
- Machine wash / machine dry
- Machine wash / lay flat to dry
- Hand wash / lay flat to dry
These tags are made of 1/8" bamboo and measure approximately 5/8" x 1". They can of course go in the washer and the dryer, too. You may want to use only one or two plies of the yarn to stitch it on if your yarn is bulky.
Katrinkles works hard to ensure that each item she makes is special, and bamboo contributes to this as a unique material. Bamboo plywood is sustainable and is stronger than wood. Your tags may not be indestructible, but they can withstand more than a needle gauge made of birch. Bamboo has a rich history of roles and uses in Asian mythology and culture and is even used in Chinese medicine because of its anti-bacterial properties.
These tags are sold individually. Because they are made of a natural material, the appearance of each tag may vary slightly.
