NEW!! Ideal (pronounced ee-day-AL) is a plump, round worsted weight yarn spun from 100% Polwarth wool.  Polworth sheep are a cross between Merino & Lincoln breeds.  This combination of softness, strength & durability is “ideal” for garments that are comfortable, as well as resistant to pilling.

Hand-dyed and available in a gorgeous palette of semi-solid and space-dyed colorways, we love this yarn for any project where you want to show off texture or cables. It’s also perfect for colorwork projects - such as stranded or mosaic knitting! Ideal is super soft held alone but it also pairs nicely with an additional strand of mohair or alpaca.
