After Andrea Mowry created the colorwork motif for this year’s “Rhinebeck Sweater”, Framed, she was inspired to keep playing with this quilting inspired design. The result of which is her new cowl pattern - Frame Your Face.
Our kits are designed to be used for the sport weight version of this pattern, using two favorite yarns of ours! Woolfolk Tynd is a cashmere soft, 100% Ovis 21 Ultimate Merino and Chimera is a wonderful color changing yarn created in the UK by Riverknits. We love that this combination not only contrasts a solid with a color changing, but also showcases the beautiful contrast in texture between the two bases. The Tynd will bloom into a gorgeous halo, while the Riverknits will remain smooth, with an ever so slight fuzziness that’s natural to Bluefaced Leicester Wool.
