MADE IN THE USA FROM SHEEP TO SKEIN
Versus is a marled DK weight, non-superwashed wool yarn by Spincycle Yarns. The concept? The Spinsters' combined their favorite natural grey wool blend with a dyed-in-the-wool solid, spun them separately and then plied them together.
Spincycle Yarns ... also known as Kate & Rachel ... began this business as a handspinnery back in 2004, the two of them kettle dyeing & spinning all of their yarn in small batches & selling at their local farmers’ market. • They now dye, spin, design, package & ship everything from their little warehouse on Queen Street. • They employ 20 female & non-binary folks who crank your yarn out seven days a week! •
All Spincycle wool is grown, processed, dyed & spun in the USA. • The non-superwashed wool used in Versus is a blend of Corriedale, Rambouillet and Columbia breeds, from sheep raised in Wyoming and Colorado. • The sheep that supply Spincycle wool are 100% non-mulesed. •
