dk weight • marled • 100% fine wool, non-superwashed • 200 yards per skein • hand wash cold, lay flat to dry
MADE IN THE USA FROM SHEEP TO SKEIN
Versus is a marled DK weight, non-superwashed wool yarn by Spincycle Yarns. The concept? The Spinsters' combined their favorite natural grey wool blend with a dyed-in-the-wool solid, spun them separately and then plied them together.
Pairs very well with Dyed In The Wool, and if you like to play around with mixing weights for texture, try it with Dream State too! (Pattern ideas below....)
Spincycle Yarns ... also known as Kate & Rachel ... began this business as a handspinnery back in 2004, the two of them kettle dyeing & spinning all of their yarn in small batches & selling at their local farmers’ market. • They now dye, spin, design, package & ship everything from their little warehouse on Queen Street. • They employ 20 female & non-binary folks who crank your yarn out seven days a week! •
All Spincycle wool is grown, processed, dyed & spun in the USA • The non-superwashed wool used in Versus is a blend of Corriedale, Rambouillet and Columbia breeds, from sheep raised in Wyoming and Colorado • The sheep that supply Spincycle wool are 100% non-mulesed
