How cute is this new beanie by Melissa LaBarre?! Using worsted weight yarn, it works up quickly with just 2 skeins of contrasting colors. Designed in Green Mountain Spinnery Weekend Wool, we think this is the perfect choice for last-minute holiday gifts...and we've created kits to make choosing color combos easier for you!
Our kit includes two (2) skeins Green Mountain Spinnery Weekend Wool (100% American Wool; 2-ply Worsted Weight; 140yds per skein) in contrasting colors.

Also needed (sold separately):
- Needles:
- US7 (4.5mm) 16” (40cm) circular for ribbed brim
- US8 (5mm) 16” (40cm) circular and DPNs for body of hat (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Notions:
- Stitch marker
- tapestry/blunt needle for weaving in ends
- pom pom maker
- blocking tools
To customize your own hat, just choose two skeins in contrasting colors of any worsted weight yarn (we recommend using solids, at least for the MC). Because this hat doesn't require much yardage, we think it's a great opportunity to "treat yo'self" and try out some new yarns and/or fun color combos. You can even add a pom pom!
