Rustic and incredibly cozy, All American Worsted is a woolen-spun 2-ply yarn, a luscious blend of purely American fibers and one of our favorites for sweaters and garments. White Rambouillet fiber from western ranches is blended with black alpaca from small East Coast farms to create a lofty grey base. Hand dyed in a rich palette, this yarn has wonderful stitch definition and a plush softness perfect for garments. These domestic fibers are spun at historic New England woolen mills before coming to Swans Island's Maine studios, where they are hand-dyed in Swans Island's own dyehouse. We recommend purchasing enough yarn to finish your project, as dye lots will vary.
Made in the US.
