KAL: Month of Socks

Are you ready to celebrate? Never tried knitting socks before? Want a brush-up reminder before you get started on holiday gifts? Or maybe you're a sock pro who's been wanting to try The Fibre Co's new eco-friendly sock yarn, Amble? Join us now through June 30, 2021, as together with The Fibre Co, we celebrate a Month of Socks.

Everyone welcome...join anytime! We'll have weekly KAL sessions in Studio Stars Hollow (SSH...!!!) every Friday in June, from 2pm to 4pm.

New sock knitters will be encouraged with step-by-step tutorials, and experienced sock knitters will be inspired with fabulous patterns and prizes. To participate, you can knit the One Sock pattern in any yarn (stash diving, anyone?) and/or knit any sock pattern with Amble yarn.

 

 

We try our best to make KALs low-key and no-stress. If you can only make a few sessions, don't worry! Trouble with the heel? Pop on by that week. Join us when you can, as we reconnect with our community.

Note: If you plan to knit Kate Atherley's One Sock, you'll need 1-2 hanks of The Fibre Co. Amble, or 130-420yds sock yarn. Also, US1 and US1.5 needles (DPNs, magic loop, or whatever needle you prefer for working a small circumference in the round), stitch markers, and a darning needle.
